DESCRIPTION:Join the City of Miami’s Procurement Department\, and their partners on Thursday\, October 19th and Friday\, October 20th\, 2023 at the Pathways to Public Procurement Summit in Jungle Island\, Miami FL. \nLearn how to actively succeed in government contracting through interactive workshops\, Business to Government (“B2G”) and Business to Business (“B2B”) Matchmaking\, and an EXPO made up of industry professionals\, local resource partners\, and state/local/federal government officials. \nReceive pre-scheduled matchmaking meetings (“speed dating for government contracting”) with industry experts and local/state/federal agencies\, this event is not one to miss for any small\, local\, or minority business looking to expand in the local corporate and government sector. \nThe event will provide impactful training\, education\, and resources to small\, local\, and minority businesses interested in expanding their business with local large corporations (s.a. Amazon World Services and many others) and government contracting. This event will be geared towards connecting high-impact small\, local\, and minority businesses with public and private sector entities to deliver exceptional performance\, surpass small business goals\, learn about contracting opportunities\, and bolster the South Florida economy. \nWhat to expect:  \n\nSessions: Learn and engage with industry experts about getting started in government contracting and subcontracting corporate growth\, who is there to help you on the journey and how to do business with various local/state/federal agencies and large corporations.\n\n\nMatchmaking: One-on-one pre-scheduled B2B and B2G meetings with Procurement professionals and government contracting resources. These meetings will last 10 minutes each and will be specifically tailored to meet the needs of potential contract opportunities and businesses alike.\n\n\nExpo: Engage with a variety of partners that will help propel you towards a successful government contracting expansion for your company. Both the Agency and Partner Expo sessions will last for the duration of the two-day event. Come by and meet your next partners!\n\nPlease note that the capacity at the venue is limited. You must be registered to participate in this event. If maximum capacity is not reached\, registration will close on Friday\, October 13.
