Get Scholarships to Attend Acclaimed Business Programs

The Florida State Minority Supplier Development Council (FSMSDC) is pleased to announce that NextEra Energy and Florida Power & Light (FPL) will provide scholarships to the Marlin Cano Kellogg Advanced Management Education Program (AMEP) and the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth program “Growing an Established Diverse Business,” taking place in Summer 2023.

Two (2) Minority Business Enterprise CEOs or owners will receive one (1) scholarship to attend a program of their choice.

Criteria for Application

  • Company must be currently certified with the FSMSDC.
  • Only the CEO/owner of the minority business is eligible to participate.
  • Candidate must be committed to accelerating the growth of their business.
  • Candidate must be committed to attend and participate fully in the entire program.
  • Business should be at least three years old.
  • Kellogg Only: Preferred sales of more than $5 million for manufacturing and distribution firms and more than $3 million for service firms. Apply even if you do NOT meet the sales criteria.

Marlin Cano Kellogg Advanced Management Education Program

The Florida State Minority Supplier Development Council (FSMSDC) and the National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC) are pleased to announce that the Marlin Cano Kellogg Advanced Management Education Program (AMEP) will be held July 24-28, 2023 at the Kellogg School of Management at the James L. Allen Center in the heart of Northwestern University’s Evanston campus.

FSMSDC will award one full scholarship to attend the program.

Tuck Diversity Business Programs Scholarship for Growing an Established Diverse Business

Tuck Diversity Business Programs and NMSDC have partnered to support the growth of MBEs across the country. Growing an Established Diverse Business will take place June 25-30, 2023. This program enables participants in established businesses to accelerate their growth. This follow-up program to Building a Successful Diverse Business helps participants overcome the challenges that business owners often see after several years of successful growth and helps them assess the alternatives to organic growth—strategic alliances and acquisitions. Applicants should have already attended Building a Successful Diverse Business or be able to demonstrate comparable experience and education.

FSMSDC will award one full scholarship to attend the program.
