FSMSDC Announces Board Chair Leadership Transition

The Florida State Minority Supplier Development Council (FSMSDC) proudly announces a transition in Board leadership as we continue advancing our mission of supporting and growing minority-owned businesses across Florida.

We extend our deepest gratitude to Desirée Hanson, who is concluding her term as Board Chair. Desirée’s leadership, commitment, and steady guidance have helped strengthen FSMSDC’s impact, deepen engagement with our stakeholders, and move the organization forward during an important period of growth. Her service has made a lasting difference, and we thank her for her dedication and leadership.

We are pleased to announce that Tonja Graham and Oswaldo “Ozzy” Soto will assume the role of Co-Chairs of the Board of Directors. Both Tonja and Oswaldo are current FSMSDC Board members and bring extensive experience, strategic insight, and a shared passion for supplier diversity and economic inclusion.

As Co-Chairs, Tonja and Oswaldo will work collaboratively to support FSMSDC’s strategic direction, strengthen partnerships, and continue advancing opportunities for Minority Business Enterprises throughout the state.

FSMSDC looks forward to this next chapter of leadership and remains committed to building generational wealth in communities of color through equity in business.
