PowerNets

An opportunity to meet one-on-one for buying decision-makers, SBEs and MBEs.

What is a PowerNet?

A PowerNet is a matchmaker/mini-fair hosted by Florida State Minority Supplier Development Council and a Corporate Member. The Corporate Member provides a venue for SBEs and MBEs to meet and discuss their products and services with the purchasing managers of the host organization. The PowerNet is a win-win situation for all involved. Corporate Members have an opportunity to present their procurement program, purchasing policies and to meet with qualified suppliers. Also, SBE/MBE affiliates have the benefit of speaking directly with buyers and key decision makers in an intimate setting, and have the opportunity to network with other SBEs and MBEs.

Successful PowerNets Require:

  • Meeting space for 75-100 people
  • Buyers/Purchasing Managers of various commodities
  • Company representative to welcome the FSMSDC group
  • Light refreshments for the PowerNet
  • Information on the company’s Supplier Diversity Program
  • Tables for one-on-one meetings with MBEs

There are no upcoming PowerNets.

Please view FSMSDC’s calendar of events for more business opportunity meeting dates.

Our mission is to link corporations and government agencies with Minority Business Enterprises (MBEs) to foster business development and expansion.
