Since May 2024, Oswaldo (Ozzy) Soto has been Travel + Leisure’s Head of Supplier Diversity. The company provides more than 6 million vacations to travelers every year through its extensive vacation ownership portfolio, subscription travel club and timeshare exchange network. 

Soto has 35 years of experience in strategic sourcing and supplier diversity, including more than 18 years with Universal Destination and Experiences. During his time there, he earned the National Minority Supplier Development Council’s Buyer of the Year award. 

“My passion for advancing diversity and inclusion in the business sector gives me an opportunity to align my personal values with my professional work,” Soto said. “I recognize, accept and value unique qualities that distinguish individuals, while still bringing value-added financial benefits to MBEs, and to Travel + Leisure.”

Soto is excited to help further FSMSDC’s mission by advocating for minority businesses and raising awareness of the value of supplier diversity for buyers. 

Soto is also on the board of NavoBA (National Veteran-Owned Business Association) and chairs the Hispanic Chamber Metro Orlando Council.
